The husband and I tried a few different ones before we had kids but didn't feel right at any of them. We both grew up going to church and it feels odd not doing it with the girls. I'm more of the having faith than having religion mindset though.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00208693126891771898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1471353673045800301.post-10239189636709675972012-04-23T19:12:06.830-04:002012-04-23T19:12:06.830-04:00I went to church this weekend only because I was a...I went to church this weekend only because I was attending a Baptism, but something about the gospel reading and the quiet was so comforting and intriguing. You wrote this so beautifully and powerfully. And your girls' questions? On my goodness. They are wonderful. Thank you for this piece of beauty in my day.Pamela Hunt Cloydhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15785363232789520183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1471353673045800301.post-22618565172159491912012-04-23T14:04:41.032-04:002012-04-23T14:04:41.032-04:00I've been thinking about this on and off since...I've been thinking about this on and off since we had the boys. I didn't grow up in church; my husband did and hated it. My boys go to a religious daycare and they come asking questions. For now, I just use those questions as a leaping off point for discussions, but I wonder if the boys deserve more than my ramblings. (Well, that's not right -- what I mean is that I want them to have the information that will allow them to come up with their own theological ramblings, but I'm not sure how to start giving them that information.)Hillaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07383163628351295433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1471353673045800301.post-23847828319030592352012-04-23T13:08:14.811-04:002012-04-23T13:08:14.811-04:00I love this so much - thanks for paving the way fo...I love this so much - thanks for paving the way for a mama in a similar situation!
